Le Adidas Anthony Edwards 3 "Stone" sono la terza scarpa firma di Ant-Man — e la prima della linea AE a introdurre la tecnologia Hyperboost nel basket. Grigio pietra, frecce TPU laterali, midsole traslucente: la AE 3 torna all'estetica aggressiva e futuristica che aveva reso la AE 1 una delle scarpe da basket più desiderate degli ultimi anni.

Anthony Edwards non è soddisfatto della AE 2. Lo hanno detto le fonti, lo ha confermato il mercato. Adidas ha ascoltato e ha accelerato i tempi: la AE 3 arriva prima del previsto, con un redesign deciso che riprende il DNA della AE 1 — quella scarpa che nel 2023 era diventata un fenomeno quasi istantaneamente — e lo porta al livello successivo. Le frecce TPU sui pannelli laterali sono la firma visiva del modello: dinamiche, aggressive, sempre orientate in avanti. Il colorway "Stone" le interpreta in chiave metallica e fredda — grigio pietra come base, grigio scuro sulle frecce, accento blu elettrico sul collar che emerge con discrezione e midsole traslucente.

Il vero salto tecnico rispetto alla AE 2 è sotto la scarpa. La AE 3 adulto introduce Hyperboost — la schiuma più reattiva e leggera di Adidas, finora riservata esclusivamente ai super trainer della linea running. Portarla nel basket significa portare un livello di ritorno energetico che la linea AE non aveva mai avuto prima: più esplosività nei tagli, più reattività nei cambi di direzione, più energia ad ogni stacco verso il ferro. La piastra torsionale integrata aggiunge rigidità dove serve senza sacrificare la flessibilità dell'avampiede.

La tomaia in mesh resistente è rinforzata da overlay TPU triangolari posizionati nelle zone di massimo stress laterale — gli stessi movimenti di taglio e cambio di direzione che Edwards esegue ogni sera in NBA. Il heel bumper al tallone aggiunge stabilizzazione nei movimenti più fisici. Il fit è snug, quasi a guanto, con un'interno a calzino che abbraccia il piede dal primo momento.
